They have the advantages of being renewable, clean, safe, and long-lived. They are considered to be one of the most promising renewable energy technologies.At present, the photovoltaic conversion efficiency of solar cells that have achieved large-scale industrial applications is 10-18%. Daylighting glass is a necessary accessory for solar photovoltaic systems. Its sunlight penetration rate is directly proportional to the photovoltaic conversion efficiency. The solar cell loses considerable power generation due to the pollution of the daylighting glass. Therefore, the research and development of solar cell glass self-cleaning technology, especially the research and development of new self-cleaning technology that does not affect the solar transmittance, has self-cleaning functions, and reduces the loss of power generation. It is of great significance to improve the effective photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells.
The new type of self-cleaning metal oxide nano film for solar cells developed by us uses the special structure of the metal oxide nano film to achieve self-cleaning function. The solar cell lighting glass using this film can remove 90-100% of dust.
The project innovatively uses solvent volatilization-induced self-assembly to prepare metal oxide nano-films, using the hydrophilicity of the oxide nano-films of nano-pores and the capillary effect of the nano-pores to achieve super-hydrophilic self-cleaning of the film.
